Proposed Commitment 4: Strengthening civic participation through collaborative design of model government engagement processes

This commitment aims to strengthen open government by modelling collaborative engagement and participation processes through Civic Space Policy Design Workshops. The workshops will bring together civil society organisations, local and state governments, and Commonwealth agencies to explore how Australia can implement specific recommendations from the OECD Open Government Review of Australia: Strengthening Civic Space and Participation (the Review). Refer to the consultation paper for more information.
